General meeting of Spaks Invest hf. was held last Thursday, May 2. The current board of directors was re-elected. The fund’s assets totaled ISK 1.12 billion at the end of last year and the fund’s exchange rate rose by 17.53% in 2023 after all costs. The fund’s profit amounted to ISK 187 million.

The board consists of Björn Ágúst Björnsson, who is also the chairman of the board, Steinunn Guðbjartsdóttir, Halldór H. Jónsson, María Þórsdóttir and Helga Viðarsdóttir. The managing director and also the fund manager is Helga Viðarsdóttir. Svava Sól Matthíasdóttir was recently hired as a lawyer for Spaks Invest hf.
